2024 WEBC Membership Pub Night!

Saturday, February 3rd, 2024

Rock Bottom Bar & Grill - 7:30 PM!

It’s that time of year again Windsor Essex! We are super excited to announce that Windsor Essex Bike Community (WEBC) will be hosting our 2nd annual membership pub night at Rock Bottom Bar and Grill Saturday, February 3rd! We will have the entire upstairs lounge booked from 7:30 PM -11:00 PM!

This event will be our 2024 kick off party and an opportunity for everyone to sign up for their 2024 WEBC membership in person!

2024 WEBC MEMBERSHIP PUB NIGHT :

2024 Dirt Divas Season Opener Ride! 

Saturday, April 20th, 2024

Malden Park - Matchette Road Parking Lot - 1:00 - 3:00 PM!

Attention all women riders! Come out and ride with the Dirt Divas on Saturday, April 20th from 1:00 - 3:00 PM. The group will meet at the Matchette road parking lot at Malden Park and then ride over to the Black Oak's trails for an awesome season opener ride led by WEBC Women's Community Ambassador Kim Rocheleau!

All ages, and all skills levels are welcome!

The MTB Exchange + Dirt Divas Group Ride!

Join the Dirt Divas as they host The MTB Exchange for a women's only mountain bike group ride in Windsor.

Join WEBC for our 2024 WEBC Season Opener Group Ride on Tuesday, May 7th when we meet at Brews & Cues Pub at 6:00 PM.

Everyone will meet at Brews & Cues Pub's parking lot and we will ride over to the trails! Post ride beverages and food will be at the pub!

2024 Kelly-Ann Way Grand Départ Ride

Saturday, June 15th 2024

Libro Centre, Amherstburg - 9:00 AM

WHAT?

This year the Essex Centurion will take the form of a Grand Départ Ride which everyone starts at the same place & time. There are two ride options: a 100-minute Slow Roll (about 27k) or a 100k Metric Century Ride.

WHY?

Ride with two-time Olympian cyclist Kelly-Ann Way of Windsor-Essex to celebrate her induction into the Canadian Cycling Hall of Fame.

Ride to support a great organization. Net proceeds of the ride and donations will go to Leadership Advancement For Women And Sport (LAWS) 

Ride to inspire others and to support female cycling

Ride to discover new routes and for fitness & FUN!

WHO?

Everyone is welcome. Cycling is often a male dominated sport. We're striving for equal male & female participation! June 16th is Father's Day, so we hope fathers & daughters might ride together.

2024 WEBC Youth MTB Club 

Beginning Wednesday, July 3rd 

Libro Centre Trails, Amherstburg - 6:00 PM

Calling all youth riders (aged 12-17) to join us for our first season of WEBC's Youth Mountain Bike Club!

​

This club will host two youth group rides a month beginning July, 3rd at 6:00 PM riding the Libro Trails. 

​

These youth group rides will be for all skill levels and riders aged 12-17. All riders will need to sign a WEBC waiver and come to the event with a working bike and helmet.

​

Our WEBC team will offer basic mountain bike skill instruction and lead multiple group rides split up by different skill levels and riding abilities.

​

See you out on the trails on Wednesday, July 3rd!

WEBC Trails Celebration Day!

Saturday July 13th, 2024

Libro Centre Trails, Amherstburg - 11:00 AM

To celebrate the opening of Phase 2 of the Libro Centre trails we ask all local riders to come check out the new trails on Saturday, July 13th at 11:00 AM at the Libro Centre!

​

This will be an amazing day to celebrate the new Phase 2 trails and our local riding scene!

Event details include:

• Saturday, July 13th at 11:00 AM 

• All ages & skill levels! ‍‍‍

• Flow Cafe & Bikes will be offering demo bikes (Ibis, Kona, & GT) to try out on the Libro Trails! 

• A mechanic stand to help anyone in need of some basic bike care 

• Information about “WEBC Youth” riding club for all young riders in Windsor & Essex County 

• Local vendors to be announced

We will have the trail ready by early July and hope to have a HUGE turnout of riders and WEBC supporters to celebrate Phase 2 trails on July 13th!!

WEBC Youth After Party! 

Wednesday October 2nd, 2024

Flow Cafe & Bikes- 7:30 PM

Following our last WEBC Youth session on Wednesday, October 2nd… WEBC will be hosting a post ride after party at Flow to celebrate a successful first full season of WEBC youth!! 

Our last WEBC youth session will be on Wednesday, Oct 2nd from 6:00-7:00 PM at the Libro Centre trails followed by our post ride after party at Flow Cafe & Bikes from 7:30 - 8:30 PM!

Event details:

• All WEBC Youth riders & parents are invited to Flow Cafe & Bikes for our post ride after party starting at 7:30 PM! 

• Post ride baked goods & treats will be provided by WEBC for all WEBC Youth riders & parents 

• Delicious beverages & food at Flow Cafe & Bikes will be available for purchase 

• Prizes & Season awards for our WEBC Youth riders! 

We really hope for this to be another fun event for the kids to celebrate the incredible progress and fun we all had together this season during our WEBC Youth sessions!

WEBC Season Finale MTB Group Ride!

Brews & Cues Pub Parking Lot, Windsor - 11:00 AM

Windsor Essex Bike Community (WEBC) will be hosting our season finale MTB group ride on Saturday, October 19th at 11 AM!

​

After the ride we will be having an after party lunch at Brews & Cues!! 

​

Everyone will meet before the ride at Brews & Cues pub parking lot at 11 AM and then ride over to the trails.

​

All ages and skills levels are invited out to our season finale ride! 

​

After our ride we have rented out an area of Brews & Cues for just WEBC to have a post ride after party lunch! 

​

We will be offering some awesome season finale prizes, exciting WEBC updates, and other information for our 2025 season!!

​

Last season we had over 60 riders attend our finale ride so let’s try and have another huge turn out!!
