Building a Community!

WEBC membership pub night really allowed riders to get together under one roof and have a great time as a community.

Between the big turnout, exciting 2023 plan announcements, great food, and prizes, the event was a smash hit!

We are so excited to continue to bring riders together to create positive change in our community and grow our local riding scene!

November 20th, 2022 Ladies Meet & Greet!

WEBC directors and a group of local female riders had a great afternoon at Rock Bottom Bar & Grill, discussing how our riding community can work together to help grow women's cycling in Windsor & Essex County!

We had Kim Rocheleau and the Dirt Divas join us to present more about the history of their women's group ride and how they hope to grow female riding in the region!

October 22nd, 2022 Essex Group Ride Recap!

Windsor Essex Bike Community (WEBC) had an awesome ride through the Town of Essex that continued into the Chrysler Greenway Trail! We had a great turnout of WEBC supporters who came out to help promote our Essex MTB skills park proposal. Our community partners really stepped up with some extremely generous raffle prizes raffled off at the end of the ride. Congrats to the young rider that won our first place prize, a brand new bike!

We were also very fortunate to have a local OPP officer volunteer her time and provide a Police cruiser escort for the ride to esnure our riders were safe while riding to the Greenway. Thank you Essex OPP for ensuring our safety!

An awesome turnout for our best WEBC group ride yet!

Thank you so much to our community partners that were essential in helping this event be such a success!

Another great group ride for WEBC & its supporters!

Windsor Essex Bike Community (WEBC) had another great turnout for its second organized group ride event! Despite really cold weather and windy conditions, WEBC riders still came out and made the event an awesome success.

Thank you so much to City Cyclery & Cycle Culture bike shops for the amazing raffle prizes!

WEBC is extremely fortunate to have amazing community bike shop partners in both City Cyclery & Cycle Culture. Both bike shops stepped up in a big way and provided awesome raffle prizes that WEBC raffled off at the group ride. Congratulations to those who won prizes and thank you so much to all of those that contributed to our raffle fundraiser!

Next up we will see you in the Town of Essex for a great ride through the scenic Chrysler Greenway Trail on Saturday, October 22nd!

WEBC will be raffling off a brand-new bike and other amazing local business gift card packages! Buy your tickets through Instagram or at City Cyclery & Cycle Culture bike shops.

September 18th, 2022 Group Ride Recap!

On Saturday, September 18th, Windsor Essex Bike Community (WEBC) had our first organized group ride. With a great turn out, beautiful weather, and awesome vibes all around it turned out to be an amazing day!

Thanks to our partner City Cyclery for helping provide new helmets!

With the help of our partner, City Cyclery bike shop, we were also able to provide a young rider a brand new safe helmet! WEBC takes riding safety very seriously, so we were thrilled to help this young rider be more safe on the trail.

WEBC also really appreciates all the riders that came out and participated in our group ride. If we can continue to unite together there is so much potential for Windsor Essex's riding community!

WEBC will continue to host group rides and will be hosting other events in the future. Stay tuned for more details!!
